Montgomery County Emergency Service District No. 7 receives its funding from a property tax rate of .10 cents for every 100.00 dollars of property value as regulated by the Texas Constitution and a sales & use tax from within the boundaries (excluding the cities of Patton Village & Splendora) of the fire district.
The East Montgomery County Fire Department provides protection to the more than 45,000 residents in its 144 square miles. A dedicated staff of paid career firefighters and volunteer personnel proudly provide service to the district’s residents.
On average the fire department responds to over 4,800 incidents while staffing four fire stations 24/7 with career and volunteer firefighter personnel. The fire district operates from five fire stations which house: four engines, three tanker trucks, four booster trucks, one rescue truck, two water rescue craft, and four quick response vehicles.
