Last night East County Fire held a badge pinning and awards ceremony. Members were recognized for completing probationary status and becoming firefighters, and some employees recognized for promoting to the ranks of Driver Operator, Captain, and Battalion Chief within the past year. Awards were also given out to Ladder 151 C shift for saving the life of Matt Peterson who is a cardiac arrest survivor and is the son of our ESD President. Engine 155 A shift was given a crew commendation award for going above and beyond during the winter freeze.

Thank you to the Emergency Services District 7 board members for always supporting our department and a special thank you to Fountain View Farm in Splendora for allowing us to host our event. It is a beautiful facility.
